This group studies Mechanical Behavior of Structural Materials. The size scale varies from macro to nano meters. Research methods include experiments, computational simulation and modeling. We learn from nature, reveal mechanical insights of both biomimetic and natural materials and provide novel structural designs in an multidisciplinary research framework.
